3. What is salary of BAMS doctor ? –

Actually, the salary of a doctor cannot be assumed with accuracy whether he is a BAMS doctor or an MBBS doctor.

Since, here we are talking about a BAMS doctor, we will only focus on a BAMS doctor.

Sometimes I have seen that a BAMS doctor earns better than an MBBS doctor. This is the reason you can’t assume the actual salary of a doctor.

But, of course I can give an idea about it.

If we focus on BAMS doctors only, you can consider that at the beginning of their career they will be able to earn around 20,000 to 50,000 rupees easily.

Additionally, I would say that if they pursue post graduation in Ayurveda, definitely they can make money a lot.

4. Is BAMS good for future ? –

Firstly, I would say that if you want to make your career in medical field, I’ll suggest you to clear NEET ( National Eligibility Entrance Test ) exam for MBBS course by doing hard work.

At the same time, by chance if you are unable in doing that and qualify for BAMS course only, there is no problem.

Because, at last BAMS will also be prove a good career option for you.

Moreover, people also think that if they complete BAMS course, they will have no opportunity in government sector which is completely wrong conception.

Actually, when you complete BAMS degree, you have a lot of opportunities in both the sectors ( private and government ) to get a job.

5. What is BAMS qualification ? –

To pursue BAMS course, you should complete your 10+2 in science stream with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry & Biology.

Additionally, keep in your mind that you have to acquire the minimum percentage ( 50 % or 60 % ) in Intermediate ( 10 +2 ).

Minimum percentage parameter only depends on the colleges and universities from where you want to pursue the course.

The minimum percentage can differ for individual colleges.

I have also noticed that some of the colleges have age criteria, so please check the eligibility criteria deeply for a particular college or university.

So if you meet the eligibility criteria, you can apply for NEET ( National Eligibility Entrance Exam ) without any problem.

Note – To get admitted to BAMS course you will have to go through NEET exam, as a result you will get a BAMS college according the merit list.

6. Is BAMS equal to MBBS ? –

Well, there shouldn’t be confusion about this question. However, if you are confused about it, I’m telling you that both the courses are totally different.

BAMS ( Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery ) is all about Ayurveda whereas MBBS refers to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.
