MSc Full form, Eligibility, Duration, ISRO Job & Other related information –
1. What is the MSc course ? –
MSc is a postgraduate course, which is pursued just after graduation. It’s a two year duration course. However, the duration of the course may change because the duration only depends on the MSc specialization selected by the students.
Moreover, MSc course is offered by many universities and colleges in various science fields such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany, Mathematics, Biochemistry, Food sciences, Microbiology, Life sciences etc.
Additionally, in this course you learn advanced theoretical and practical knowledge as well. In other words, you can say that MSc helps the students enhance the knowledge of a particular subject.
2. MSc full form –
As I always tell you that before doing any course you must know the full form of the respective course.
In the same way, you should also know MSc full form so that you don’t feel hesitation at the time of asking by someone. MSc full form is nothing, but it’s Master of Science.
3. What is the eligibility for MSc ? –
If you want to pursue MSc course as a post graduation, you should definitely know the eligibility criteria of pursuing MSc.
In fact, there is not a very large eligibility criterion for pursuing this course, but you must meet the basic eligibility criteria for it..
The basic eligibility criteria is to be graduate in science stream with required percentage for the respective university and college.
Moreover, there is no age limit to pursue this course.
4. Is MSc a good degree ? –
As you have already known that MSc is a post graduation degree, but now the question is ‘ Is MSc is a good degree ?’
If you are also confused about this question, my answer will be Yes.
MSc can prove the best degree for the students who are graduated in science stream. In addition, it can provide a respectable job after completing this course with good marks.
It means, according to selected MSc specialization, you can get an opportunity in Medicine, Chemical, Petrochemical and other related industries like polymer.
Additionally, after completing MSc course you can go for a research study in many advanced organizations like ISRO, BAARC etc.
Overall, you can consider that MSc is a good degree that can provide you a good career.
5. Is MSc better than MBA ? –
Overall, I would say that MBA is better than MSc. But, if we consider both the degrees individually, I would say that Both are the best at their own levels.
In fact, MSc ( Master of Science ) is a degree, which cannot make you travel from one place to another regarding jobs whereas MBA ( Master of Business Admiration ) can do this.
This is so because MBA is related to business.
Additionally, MBA gives you a global recognition that makes it a perfect degree. In other words, you can say that both the degrees can take you the respective destination.
There is one more thing that I want to discuss and that is to pursue MBA is a bit expensive as compared to MSc.
Now, it only depends on you what you choose for your career.
6. Is MSc Physics difficult ? –
Well, often I have noticed this question confuses the students a lot and it is also the most frequently asked question. This is why, I picked this question.
Actually, MSc Physics will not be difficult for those who studied it very well in BSc, but may be difficult for those who didn’t study it in BSc at all.
Furthermore, it’s a difficult subject for those who don’t like mathematics.
The reason behind that is MSc course is a detailed study of a particular subject and Physics is widely involved in derivations and calculation due to which it may be a little difficult for the students who are weak in Mathematics.
7. Can I join ISRO after MSc ? –
Yes of course, you can join ISRO after MSc. But, I have also seen that people ask the same question when they pass out BSc successfully.
Hence, keeping into the mind the same question that is ‘Can I join ISRO after BSc ?’ my answer will be No.
Because, if you want to join ISRO, you will only be able to join ISRO after MSc by an entrance exam that is held by ICRB.
8. Which is better MSc Physics or MSc Chemistry ? –
As I notched that students choose the subject for MSc according to their comfortability. But, they don’t aware of which is better subject ?
In most of the cases, students often confuse between Physics and Chemistry. If you are going to pursue MSc, I’ll suggest you to choose chemistry as a subject. MSc in Chemistry provides a lot of job options as compared to MSc in Physics.
If you pursue MSc in chemistry, you can get an opportunity to join Laboratory technician, Chemical analyst, Food and drug inspector etc.
But, instead of that if you pursue MSc in Physics, you can get job opportunities in Nuclear Power Plants, Nuclear Energy Research Centers, Aerospace sector etc.
