MSc is a postgraduate course, which is pursued just after graduation. It’s a two year duration course. However, the duration of the course may change because the duration only depends on the MSc specialization selected by the students.
Moreover, MSc course is offered by many universities and colleges in various science fields such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany, Mathematics, Biochemistry, Food sciences, Microbiology, Life sciences etc.

Overall, I would say that MBA is better than MSc. But, if we consider both the degrees individually, I would say that Both are the best at their own levels.
In fact, MSc ( Master of Science ) is a degree, which cannot make you travel from one place to another regarding jobs whereas MBA ( Master of Business Admiration ) can do this.
This is so because MBA is related to business.
Additionally, MBA gives you a global recognition that makes it a perfect degree. In other words, you can say that both the degrees can take you the respective destination.
There is one more thing that I want to discuss and that is to pursue MBA is a bit expensive as compared to MSc.
Now, it only depends on you what you choose for your career.
6. Is MSc Physics difficult ? –
Well, often I have noticed this question confuses the students a lot and it is also the most frequently asked question. This is why, I picked this question.
Actually, MSc Physics will not be difficult for those who studied it very well in BSc, but may be difficult for those who didn’t study it in BSc at all.
Furthermore, it’s a difficult subject for those who don’t like mathematics.
The reason behind that is MSc course is a detailed study of a particular subject and Physics is widely involved in derivations and calculation due to which it may be a little difficult for the students who are weak in Mathematics.
7. Can I join ISRO after MSc ? –
Yes of course, you can join ISRO after MSc. But, I have also seen that people ask the same question when they pass out BSc successfully.
Hence, keeping into the mind the same question that is ‘Can I join ISRO after BSc ?’ my answer will be No.
Because, if you want to join ISRO, you will only be able to join ISRO after MSc by an entrance exam that is held by ICRB.
8. Which is better MSc Physics or MSc Chemistry ? –
As I notched that students choose the subject for MSc according to their comfortability. But, they don’t aware of which is better subject ?
In most of the cases, students often confuse between Physics and Chemistry. If you are going to pursue MSc, I’ll suggest you to choose chemistry as a subject. MSc in Chemistry provides a lot of job options as compared to MSc in Physics.
If you pursue MSc in chemistry, you can get an opportunity to join Laboratory technician, Chemical analyst, Food and drug inspector etc.
But, instead of that if you pursue MSc in Physics, you can get job opportunities in Nuclear Power Plants, Nuclear Energy Research Centers, Aerospace sector etc.
