In this article, I’m going to tell you about the UGC NET 2022 notification. Here, I will tell you all the details regarding the notification like admission fee, age limit, eligibility, exam pattern, exam mode, marking, etc.

1. NTA UGC NET 2022 Notification

NTA is an organization that is completely independent and autonomous to conduct transparent tests for admitting candidates.

National Testing Agency ( NTA ) has released a notification for the UGC NET 2022 exam. The candidates who are interested to appear in the NTA UGC NET exam 2022 can apply.

Interested candidates can apply for the online form from 30th April to 20th May.

2. Application Fee –

The application fee is different for different categories.

SC/ST/PHAn SC/ST/PH student has to pay Rs. 275/-

The fee is payable through the mentioned payment gateways such as Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, and E Challan.

3. Age limit –

Candidates whose maximum age is 31 years can apply for JRF and there is no age limit for those who are interested in NET.

To apply for JRF, the candidates belonging to OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwD/third gender categories and also women applicants will get a relaxation of up to 5 years.

4. Eligibility –

There is only one eligibility criterion. Either you passed a master’s degree in the concerned subjects with at least 55% or appeared.

5. Pattern of examination –

The exam will have two papers. In both the papers, questions will be asked in objective form or MCQ based. You won’t be given break between the papers.

The first paper will consist of 50 questions and the second paper will include 100 questions. The time duration for both the papers will be three hours.

6. Mode of examination –

Both the papers will be conducted in online mode i.e they will be computer-based.

7. Marking scheme –

Candidates will get 2 marks for each correct question and there is no minus marking for wrong questions.

If you come under eligibility, you should apply for the exam. Applying is not meant that it’s mandatory to pass the exam but also to get some kind of experience. So, I would suggest you apply for the UGC NET 2022 exam.

But during the preparation, I was being graduated from CSJMU Kanpur. I completed my graduation in 2016 and now I’m pursuing an educational degree ( B.Ed. ). 2. Profession – Although I love teaching, but I also do blogging. Both are my favorite jobs.
