1. English Speech on Republic Day for 1 Minute –

Hello everyone, my name is Garima Gupta. I study in class 6th. As you all know that today is Republic Day. It is celebrated every year on 26 January. It’s so because our country became a democratic country on 26 January 1950.

We have been celebrating this Day not from today but for the last 73 years. This year, we are celebrating the 74th Republic Day. Whenever Republic day comes, we express our inclination towards the constitution of our country and remember those moments when it was being implemented in the whole country.

When the constitution came into force in the whole country, we got the right to choose political leaders in our country and also got freedom from British rule.

From 26 January 1950, through the Constitution, the rules and regulations of the country were made aware to the people of India so that all the people follow the rules and regulations to avoid crimes and untoward incidents.

Even after so many years, we celebrate it with great pomp. The reason for celebrating this day is to remember those people who worked hard in the making of our constitution and imposed it in the country.

That is why for many decades, we have been celebrating this day as a national festival and will continue to celebrate it.

Now, I end my words, thank you very much.
