Here are four speeches on women’s empowerment in 200 words. All the speeches are different. You can pick any of them according to your suitability.

1. Speech on Women’s Empowerment in 200 Words for Classes 3, 4 & 5 –

Good morning to all, my name is Rishi Gautam and I’m from class 5th. First of all, I’m very thankful to my class teacher who gave me the opportunity to speak on women’s empowerment.

The popularity of women’s empowerment in India is increasing day by day. All the countrymen are appreciating it as it’s about making women strong. In olden times, women were under the thumb of men, but today the situation has been changed and they are as strong as men.

Apart from this, many great women have also helped other women to emerge in the society like PV Sindhu, Susmita Sen, Sucheta Kriplani, Kiran Bedi, etc.

Moreover, the government launched many schemes to empower women such as Beti Bachao Bati Padhao, Women Helpline Scheme, Mahila Shakti Kendras ( MSK ), Nari Shakti Puruskar, etc.

Now, women are gradually participating in many fields. As a result, the inequalities between men and women are ending. If it continues for some decades, the day isn’t far when our country will be counted among the developed countries.

At last, I would say that people should always empower women so that they couldn’t lag in any field.

Thank you.

2. Speech on Women’s Empowerment in 200 Words for Classes 6, 7 & 8 –

Firstly, my greetings to all the teachers and students. My name is Akshay Rathaur and I study in class 8th.

Today is International Women’s Day. It’s a very special day for all the women in the world. That’s why I decided to give a speech in favor of all the women. That means the whole speech is about women’s empowerment.

As you all know that India is a male-dominated country. Here, women are rarely compelled to work like men. This custom is going on not from today but from ancient times. In fact, due to gender inequality, women are confined to only four walls and are considered below men.

They are neither provided proper education nor given the same respect as men due to which the status of women has become completely different from men.

But it really shouldn’t be like that. To make our country better and stronger, women should also be given the same status as men.

In developed countries, the status of women is equal to men. That’s why they are counted as developed countries. So, we should also stimulate women to work with men as 50% of the population of our country is consisted of women.

However, to give high status to women, the government of the country has launched many campaigns and schemes but it needs to be implemented by all the countrymen.

If the people of our country do so, surely they will see a big change after a few years.

Thank you.

3. Speech on Women’s Empowerment in 200 Words for Classes 9 & 10 –

Good morning to all the teachers and students. I’m Sofia Bano and today I’m going to give a speech on women’s empowerment.

Actually, women’s empowerment is very much needed in our country. The men of our country are unaware that women can also contribute to our country as much as men. If women get equal status as men, no one can stop this country from becoming a developed country.

To promote women’s empowerment, first of all, we have to change our thinking and end gender inequality.

There are many rules and regulations in our country to empower women but no one gives importance to them in real life.

Efforts are going on to empower women for many years but still, we are having issues related to women’s empowerment. The reason for its failure is the people of this country ignore it instead of paying attention to it.

If you want that our country should emerge as a better nation as compared to other countries, you have to put women ahead or they should be given the freedom to do any work.

So, I’m requesting all of you to empower women in any field so that our nation can also be a developed one like others.

Thank you.

4. Speech on Women’s Empowerment in 200 Words for Classes 11 & 12 –

My name is Shashwat Agarwal and I read in class 12th.

Today, I am very grateful to Sneha ma’am for giving me a chance to speak on women’s empowerment.

The importance of women’s empowerment is increasing in our country day by day. It’s the only means by which we can take our country on the path of progress.

Other countries are ahead of our country as women are given equal status as men there. At the same time, they do all the work that men do. But, it’s not the case in India where about 50% of the entire population is women.

In India, people keep women confined to household chores or they keep women away from doing outside work. Actually, people consider women unequal to men, which is not true.

So, we should give priority to gender equality. It’s the best way to empower women in India.

All the men should understand that women can also take our country to a new level. They are not just for household chores. So, be aware and free women to work so that women can also become as strong as men and take part in various fields.

Thank you.
