IIT Full Form, Eligibility, Syllabus, Salary & Other Important Details –

1. What is IIT in India ? –

IIT is a very illustrious programme in India or you can say that it’s a top level engineering.

In most of the cases, it’s found that the course ( IIT ) is pursued by the students who are related to CBSE & ICSE board.

It doesn’t mean that the students of UP board don’t pursue this course.

Absolutely, they pursue, but less in number.

IIT conducts the IIT-JEE exam every year to choose the best students in IITs.

At present, there are almost twenty three IIT colleges, which are located in different cities in India.

After pursuing IIT course, the students are placed by foreign companies and domestic companies as well.

If you want to know about MBBS, you can check the article by clicking the provided link.

2. IIT full form –

As I have always told you that before pursuing any course you must know the basic information of the respective course.

Otherwise, you may face some hassles at the time of asking by someone.

So, IIT full form is nothing, but it’s Indian Institute of Technology.

Now, I hope that there will be no problem of explaining it to someone.

3. What is qualification of IIT ? or Eligibility –

Since, IIT is an engineering program, you will have to pass the entrance exam ( IIT-JEE ) for pursuing IIT course from the best college.

Make sure that you have passed intermediate ( 12th ) from any recognized board before applying for the entrance exam.

Moreover, the student can apply for IIT-JEE entrance exam only thrice in consecutive years.

4. What is IIT syllabus ? –

By the way, after qualifying the IIT-JEE entrance exam, you see the syllabus according to selected engineering branch in which you are interested.

But before it, you will have to qualify the entrance exam.

To qualify the entrance exam, you need to prepare for only three subjects from which questions are asked in the entrance exam.

All these questions are related to Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and the standard of the questions is quite good.

It means, if you are also interested to prepare for IIT-JEE entrance exam, you will have to deep study of the respective subjects related to 11th and 12th.

5. What is IIT salary ? –

Often, I have seen that students speculate about the salary of an IITian before pursuing the course and why shouldn’t this question come into the mind ?

Hence, before telling about the salary, I just want to make you sure that the salary can vary according to your eligibility and intelligence.

Actually, the range of the salary can be from 10 lakhs to 80 lakhs per annum.

Because, I inspected this range from top IIT colleges.

Moreover, if your placement goes through a foreign company, it may be higher.

6. Is IIT costly ? –

When students think of pursuing IIT course, they definitely think about the fees.

This is why, I picked this question.

Actually, when you are selected in a top government IIT college, you don’t face any type of problem regarding fees.

Because, the fees of top government colleges is very less as compared to other colleges.

In other words, you can say that all the semesters ( eight ) will be completed in 8 to 9 lakhs by a general student.

But, there is an additional provision ( full waiver ) for such special students who are related to SC and ST category.

Moreover, this additional provision is for the students who belong to the families whose annual income is less than 1 lakh.

It means, they are also provided full waiver.

But, the students whose annual income is between 1 to 1.5 lakhs, two-thirds of tuition fees are waived for them.

7. Can I do IIT after 12th ? –

Some parents are aware of their children’s future and some don’t.

The parents who are aware of, they start preparing children for IIT-JEE entrance exam by a classroom programme.

At the same time, the students who are self-dependent, they hardly know about this course when they are generally in intermediate ( 12th ).

This is why, they have a question into their mind, is there any chance to apply for the IIT-JEE entrance exam ?

If you are also a self dependent student and seeking for a chance to apply for entrance exam, of course I’ll say that yes you can.

You have totally three chances to apply for the entrance exam, but keep in your mind that all the opportunities are consecutive.

It means, if you pass out intermediate in 2021, you have three chances for attempting IIT-JEE entrance exam from the year of passing intermediate.

8. What is the rank required for IIT ? –

When you take the entrance exam of IIT-JEE, you see that a few of the total students get IIT colleges and rest of the students go ahead through private colleges to pursue B.Tech.

If you are a good student and want to get selected in an IIT college, this question will definitely come to the mind, what should be the rank for getting an IIT college ?

Actually, the rank can vary for general, OBC, SC and ST. However, I am giving an idea for a general student.

If you are a general student, you should definitely grab the rank under 10,000 otherwise you will miss.

Finally, I hope that the article must have satisfied you. I have covered all the important details related to IIT full form, salary, syllabus, eligibility and others.

If you really like this article, please share it to those who need it.

Thank you.
