1. What is MBBS ? –

Actually, MBBS is an undergraduate course, which fulfil the wishes of the aspirants who want to become a doctor.

The people who hold the MBBS degree become a certified medical practitioner and also are able to practise at any health center, hospital, health camp which is organized by NGOs.

I have always been ahead to explain the answer of this question related to various courses. Because, getting the answer of this question is as important as the course.

It’s so because if you pursue any course and don’t know the basic things of respective course like full form of the course, it may be embarrassing for you at the time of asking by someone.

In the same way, you should also know MBBS full form. Actually, MBBS full form is nothing, but it’s Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.

3. How many years is MBBS course ? –

Actually, to be graduate in MBBS is a prolonged work in which you learn about various subjects such as Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Microbiology, Surgery, Pathology, Pharmacology, Paediatrics etc.

Due to which it is completed in four and a half years with one year of internship.

However, if we talk about the initial salary of an MBBS doctor, it may be around INR 20,000 to 35,000 per month.

But, according to new guidelines the course duration has been suggested to reduce to four and a half years with six months of internship.

4. What is salary of MBBS Doctor ? –

The most important question about an MBBS is what will be the salary of an MBBS doctor. Well, for your kind information you cannot expect the exact salary, but of course you can get an idea about it.

If you are an MBBS doctor, you will get remuneration according to your experience in this field.

Additionally, As you get experience, your salary also increases onwards and it goes to around 8 to 10 lakhs per annum.

5. Can I do MBBS without NEET ? –

No, you cannot pursue MBBS course without NEET. It means, it’s mandatory to sit for NEET exam to pursue MBBS course.

But It’s also a fact and that is if you take NEET exam and don’t qualify, still you will be able to pursue for MBBS course from a private college.

This is why, don’t think that if you could not qualify the exam you cannot pursue the course.

In other words, if you planned to pursue this course, it’s mandatory to sit for NEET exam whether you pass it or not.

6. What is Eligibility to Pursue MBBS ? –

If you are interested to pursue MBBS course, definitely you must know the eligibility criteria. For pursuing MBBS, you need to complete your 12th in science stream.

It means, you must have these subjects in 12th such as Physics, Chemistry & Biology.

Moreover, your age should be at least 17 years at the time of admission.

7. What is MBBS Syllabus ? –

8. Can MBBS do Surgery ? –

As all of us know that doing surgery is not a child’s play. This is why, you cannot say that an MBBS doctor is able to treat with surgical patients.

Additionally, the IMC Act (1956) has no provision for surgery by an MBBS doctor, but they are completely free to engage in surgery under the supervision of well qualified or experienced doctors.

9. What is MBBS fee ?

Actually, when the students wish to pursue MBBS course, a lot of questions come into their mind and this question ( MBBS fees ) is one of them.

Look, if you qualify NEET exam with good marks and additionally get a government college, definitely fees will be very low in comparison to private colleges.

On the other hand, if you get a private college for pursuing MBBS, it will cost higher.

Since telling the actual fees is a bit difficult because it varies every year for every college.

But, to estimate the fees I’m telling you a range of fees which can be paid by the students in government or private colleges and that is around INR 60,000 to 30 lakhs per annum ( government & private both the colleges included ).

By chance if you get selected in AIIMS, the fees will be around 10,000 rupees per annum that is very low.

Note – If you can’t afford the fees of MBBS, I’ll suggest you to work hard for NEET exam, so that you can get a government college like AIIMS.

Otherwise, you go can for other medical courses which can prove the best for you and these are BDS, BAMS & BHMS.

After completing my 12th, I prepared twice for IIT ( Indian Institute of Technology ) from Aakash institute, but unfortunately, I failed to get selected into the best IIT colleges. But during the preparation, I was being graduated from CSJMU Kanpur. I completed my graduation in 2016 and now I’m pursuing an educational degree ( B.Ed. ). 2. Profession – Although I love teaching, but I also do blogging. Both are my favorite jobs.
