1. Short Speech on Teachers’ Day for Classes 9, 10, 11 & 12 ( 5 Minutes )

First of all, good morning to all. My name is Abhishek Awasthi and I am a student in class 9th.

As you all know that today is the 5th of September and it’s a very special day for all of us. The day is special for us because the former President of our country Dr. S. Radhakrishnan was born on this day.

Since Dr. S. Radhakrishnan was a good philosopher and teacher, so we also know this day as Teachers’ Day.

Today, we have gathered here to celebrate Teachers’ Day. So first of all, I would like to thank all the teachers for giving me an opportunity to express my thoughts on this day and also all the students who have come to the school to make this day very special.

A teacher is a human-like machine that guides the future of the students. He is the only person who is responsible for the success of the students.

As the responsibility of parents is to take care of the children. Similarly, the responsibility of a teacher is to make the future of the students.

Teachers are the guides by whom the complete character of the students can be formed. They always tell the students, what is better or worse? So, they are considered above parents. If there were no teachers, perhaps we would have been unable to find the path to success.

A teacher is that kind of lamp, which always gives light. They don’t focus on profit but provide selfless education to the students.

Teachers play a huge role in students’ lives. That’s why I would request all of you to respect your teachers always.

Once again, I wish you all a very Happy Teachers’ Day.

Thank you.

My greetings to all the teachers and my friends. I am Priyanka Soni and I read in class 7th. Today, we are celebrating Teachers’ Day only because of a person whose name was Dr. S. Radhakrishnan.

He was our former Vice President and was later elected as president. Since he contributed a lot to the field of education that’s why we celebrate his birthday as Teachers’ Day.

This day is as important for the teachers as it’s for the students. Every year, the 5th of September brings a lot of respect for the teachers as the students celebrate this day with great pomp.

Children are the future of our country, so teachers always guide them to be good citizens. Moreover, teachers are such types of lamps that always fill the light of knowledge in students.

A teacher never encourages us to do wrong things rather he always encourages us to do those things which are responsible to build a strong nation.

The great poet Kabir Das also said that the people should give importance to teachers more than God.

A teacher never discriminates among students. He imparts equal education to the students. He not only improves the innate powers of the students but also gives them the right direction so that they can develop themselves in the right way.

I really appreciate their immense contribution that made us who we are.

Whatever I say about the teachers will be less. So, students should always show their gratitude to such human beings who are teachers.

Ultimately, I end my words here by thanking all the teachers in the world.
